Thank you to all who responded to my recent reader survey. The feedback I received helped with my upcoming website redesign. I’ve been working on the new website for nearly a month and it is almost ready! I plan to launch it over the weekend. Here’s a preview along with some of the findings from the survey.
Happy New Year! WordPress was kind enough to prepare a year-in-review report for me so I thought I’d share some of the information with you. I also want to say a big THANKS to all of you who are reading this! When it comes to keeping our children safe online, a community of concerned, informed and engaged parents is the best defense. I hope to continue to provide you all with information in the coming year that will help you in this regard.
The end of the year is a great time to reflect back, and then look forward to the coming year. Some people make New Year’s resolutions, or goals and plans for the New Year. I’m getting in on the action with a look back at Be Web Smart’s top articles in 2013. I also have a few goals for the web site (no, it’s not going to lose that last 5 pounds!) so I have a few questions to help make Be Web Smart a better resource for YOU in 2014.
It was last February that I hit “publish” on my first new article here. So I wanted to say thanks to all of my e-mail subscribers, Facebook likers, and random visitors for reading, sharing and commenting. I hope that these articles have helped you to stay one step ahead of your kids on their websites, apps and devices! And to say thanks I also have a little giveaway contest – read on for details.
